Job Summary: As a Discovery Clerk at LA Injury Attorneys, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in managing the discovery phase of litigation. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the success of our cases and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents related to the discovery process.
- Evidence Gathering: Assisting in gathering evidence for cases.
- Case File Maintenance: Maintaining and organizing case files.
- Deadline Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all deadlines related to discovery.
- Communication: Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the discovery process.
- Trial Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of trial binders and exhibits.
- Software Proficiency: Utilizing legal software for case management and document management.
What We're Looking For:
- Bilingual Skills: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with our diverse client base .
- Litigation Knowledge: Background knowledge of the litigation process is essential .
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Adobe PDF, and a typing speed of at least 65 wpm .
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and time management are a must .
- Team Player: Ability to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, staff, and the general public .
- Professionalism: Outgoing, creative, intelligent, professional, and polished .
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime when needed .
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and own transportation .
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer .

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
